Dr. Scott Bottoms is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. It was after graduating college, while working in Arlington, Virginia, that he discovered his interest in dentistry. He returned home to Richmond for dental school in 2012, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2016, and completed a postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at VCU in 2017. Scott has been providing dental care in Sandston since 2017.
Dr. Bottoms is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northeast Richmond Dental Study club.
Dr. Bottoms and his wife have two daughters as well as a rescue dog. Just a short ride from Sandston, they reside in The Fan, where Scott grew up as a child. Beyond dentistry, Scott enjoys following UVA athletics, as well as playing board and lawn games, and spending time with family at the beach or River.
Dr Raidah Hudson attended the University of Richmond and and earned a degree in Chemistry. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She has provided care in the east end in solo private practice for many years. She is excited about joining the Seven Pines Dental group. Dr Hudson has 2 sons in college and enjoys hosting family and friends as well as traveling. She is committed to serving her community by being active in several non-profits and serving on their boards.
England where she received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Originally from Massachusetts, she now calls Virginia home. She enjoys being outside fishing, swimming, or helping her boyfriend work on cars. Michelle is an animal lover; she has her own dog named Millie who loves tennis balls. Michelle’s goals are to provide the best dental care to her patients and make them feel like family.
Breanne graduated from VCU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and would later go on to graduate with honors from NYU School of Dentistry in 2007. She loves connecting with patients and helping them achieve a healthy smile they can be proud of. When not providing excellent care, Bre enjoys being around family, playing in the garden and paddle boarding.
Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Melissa is the Office Manager for our White Oak location. She attended VCU and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management. After 12 years in the Oral Surgery world, she decided to make the switch to General Dentistry. “It is nice to see the same patients and be able to develop a rapport.” In her off time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her husband, son and dog keep her very busy. When she isn’t on the go, she can be found curled up with a good book. Melissa loves being a part of the AMAZING Seven Pines Dental Family!
Bella graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2022 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in New Kent County and currently lives in Lanexa with her family. While away from the office, she loves spending time outdoors, reading, and playing with her baby boy, Bayne. Her favorite thing about practicing dental hygiene is getting to know her patients and watching them achieve their oral health goals over time. Growing up around the Sandston area, and even swimming on the Sandston Swim Team for years, she is excited to be back and serving the Sandston Community.
