Scott Bottoms

DDS

Dr. Scott Bottoms, born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

While working in Arlington, Virginia, post-graduation, he discovered his passion for dentistry, prompting his return to Richmond for dental school in 2012. Dr. Bottoms earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2016 and completed a postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at VCU in 2017. Serving the Sandston community since 2017, he is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northeast Richmond Dental Study Club.

Dr. Bottoms, along with his wife and two daughters, resides just a short ride from Sandston in The Fan, where he spent his childhood. Outside the realm of dentistry, Scott is an avid follower of UVA athletics, enjoys board and lawn games, and cherishes family time at the beach or by the river.

Sonia Talegaonkar

DDS

Dr. Sonia Talegaonkar, a native of Richmond, earned her bachelor’s degree from William and Mary. Her educational journey continued at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Building a strong connection with her patients is a priority for Dr. Talegaonkar, who takes joy in guiding individuals through the myriad of options available to attain a healthy and beautiful smile. Beyond the office, she finds pleasure in cooking, traveling, and embracing the outdoors through activities like hiking and city strolls.

Raidah Hudson

DDS

Dr. Raidah Hudson attended the University of Richmond and and earned a degree in Chemistry. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. 

She has provided care in the east end in solo private practice for many years. She is excited about joining the Seven Pines Dental group. Dr Hudson has 2 sons in college and enjoys hosting family and friends as well as traveling. She is committed to serving her community by being active in several non-profits and serving on their boards.

Joshua Hankey

DDS

Dr. Joshua Hankey is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Liberty University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the VCU School of Dentistry.

He has a passion for getting to know people, which is a big part of why he enjoys dentistry. He believes that to provide the best care possible, it is important to first listen and understand each person’s needs and goals.

He lives in Lakeside and loves being part of the community. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys making and playing music, painting, and staying active through running, hiking, and swimming. His Christian faith is central to who he is, and he is actively involved in his church, where he regularly serves the community.

Melissa

Administrative Coordinator for Seven Pines Dental Group

Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Melissa serves as the Administrative Coordinator for Seven Pines Dental Group.

A 2008 VCU graduate with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management, she transitioned from Oral Surgery to General Dentistry after 12 years. Melissa appreciates the continuity of caring for the same patients and values time spent with family and friends. Juggling a busy life with her husband, son, and dog, Melissa finds solace in unwinding with a good book. She takes pride in being an integral part of the AMAZING Seven Pines Dental Family!

Rebekah

Office Manager

Rebekah has been in the Dental field for almost 10 years, starting with two undergraduate years at VCU before attending Fortis Richmond Technical College for Dental Assisting in 2015. 

She graduated with her national certificate in Dental Assisting in 2016; where she started as an Extern for Dr. Lambrechts. She spent 5 years working for another dental provider and due to SPDG’s rapid growth, returned to Dr. Lambrechts to work for his practice again for the past 4 years. She has worked up from assisting to leadership over the course of her employment, promoted from Clinical Coordinator to Practice Manager for our Sandston Location. She enjoys hiking with her Husband, a Chesterfield Firefighter, spending time with her two dogs, reading, and traveling the Globe. She aspires to one day return to college to achieve an associate degree in business with a minor in Psychology.

Bella

Bella graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2022 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. 

She was born and raised in New Kent County and currently lives in Lanexa with her family. While away from the office, she loves spending time outdoors, reading, and playing with her baby boy, Bayne. Her favorite thing about practicing dental hygiene is getting to know her patients and watching them achieve their oral health goals over time. Growing up around the Sandston area, and even swimming on the Sandston Swim Team for years, she is excited to be back and serving the Sandston Community

Hanna

Hanna is a registered dental hygienist who is passionate about helping people feel confident in their smiles. 

She enjoys educating patients about oral health and is dedicated to creating positive, comfortable dental experiences. Outside the clinic, Hanna loves camping, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her cats.

Hi, I’m Amya, a registered dental hygienist passionate about helping people feel confident in their smiles. 

I love building strong relationships with my patients and creating a comfortable, positive experience at every visit. Outside of the dental chair, you can usually find me spending quality time with my amazing friends and family or chasing after my two crazy cats who always keep life interesting!
